Dr. Ashley Budnik
Pediatric & Family Chiropractor
My chiropractic story begins at the age of 10. I was suffering from frequent headaches (later diagnosed as migraines) that had become my “normal”. Growing up in a household that sought natural solutions to our aches and pains, my parents decided that chiropractic care was the way to go. Getting my nervous system checked and adjusted quickly provided me with decreased frequency and duration of my headaches. I soon started to see the other benefits of getting adjusted from better sleep to quicker recovery after hard workouts in the pool (I was a swimmer). After many years of care, I decided to pursue a career in chiropractic.
My undergraduate education at both Macomb Community College and Wayne State University prepared me for the rigorous chiropractic program at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. I graduated magna cum laude in September of 2011. During school, I realized that I had a passion for taking care of children and pregnant moms and was able to complete a 200-hour certification program through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). This certification provided me with my Webster Certification and the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to offer safe & effective care for your children.
I have many years of experience working as an associate chiropractor in Okemos, Michigan and Royal Oak, Michigan providing care for people of all ages. These positions have provided me with thousands of hours of hands-on clinical experience that I am able to bring to this community. I am finally realizing my dream of returning to my hometown to open my own practice and I look forward to working alongside of you as you journey toward your optimal health.
When I am not at the office, you can find me at home with my husband and our son. We love going on adventures, big or small, and are doing our best to make some great memories.

Patient Care Coordinator
Hi everyone! My name is Patt and I am delighted to be working with Dr. Ashley as part of the staff here at Strong Roots Family Chiropractic. I have been married for 45 years to my high school sweetheart and am the proud mom two great kids (Dr. Ashley being one of them). While being a parent is rewarding, I got promoted to Grandma and that is the best job yet! It has been an adventure watching my 3 grandsons grow.
When I am not at work, you can find me in my yard playing in the soil (dirt, as my kids would call it), or at the sewing machine creating a new garment. My husband and I also make frequent weekend getaways to our place up north where we like to kayak and sit by the fire. Family and friends near and far are such an important part of my life and spending time strengthening those relationships is where I find my joy.
My years of experience as a hairstylist have provided me with many tools that I will be able to apply here at the office managing your patient experience. I am excited to begin this new adventure and to be part of your journey here at Strong Roots Family Chiropractic!
